Pros
This school is very flexible and provides a lot of support for working adult learners and military students. This is a great school for individuals that have transfer credit and wish to receive a degree.
Cons
There is little academic rigor within the classes and most of the instructors only hold masters degrees on the topics. I found that I was not challenged by other students. The school's curriculum was occasionally problematic as I had to withdraw from a class that had sexist themes within the content and another that utilized a textbook called "Idian Givers" about Indigenous cultures.

Pros
1) wonderful professors in the Music department, all very approachable and would go out of their way to help a student who needed it. 2) Dining Halls accommodate all diets. I myself am vegan and never went a day without a decent amount of delicious vegan options 3) Lots of clubs where you can find your people and be part of a like minded community. But it's on you to get out there and be open to meeting new people 4) I'm a woman of color and never faced discrimination on campus. Most everyone was kind to me and I had no issues making friends from different races and walks of life. I never felt like an outcast
Cons
1) Mailroom is too far away from the dorms and it's especially frustrating to pick up packages during the freezing cold winter 2) Some dorms are very outdated and don't even have elevators so it's not convenient if you don't get a room on the first floor

Pros
It got me the degree that I wanted
Cons
This program, in specific, usually favors you if you are a staff favorite, meaning that if the staff such as the professors or the director don’t like you they will make it known. I was lucky enough to not be disliked or to be favored so I flew under the radar which made it a quite enjoyable but others didn’t get that luxury.

Pros
The atmosphere is relaxed, inviting, and homey. The professors are always available to you, and they know you by name. You don't feel like you're just a "number". Everyone on campus has great, meaningful connections, and you always feel part of something greater than yourself.
Cons

Pros
The campus is absolutely beautiful, brimming with students life and surrounding nature. A walk through the campus, although time consuming, is a great way to clear your head. They are making progress in making the campus nicer, by upgrading building or building new ones. The gym is huge, and well worth the student fee.
Cons
Although there are a lot of programs for students who need help picking classes and sticking to a graduation plan, sometimes it's hard to connect to those resources, or staff members that could help. This is because their system is full of students needing help, and not everyone is able to be helped in a timely manner. In terms of making sure you select the right classes in order to graduate on time, most of that work is left up to the student themselves. Be prepared to make the matters of your education into your own hands at this campus. Also the campus and it's building are, for the most part, extremely dated.

Pros
The Gabelli School of new york is a small environment where students are encouraged to know their administrators and professors. If isssues arise, those individuals are ready to listen and react. The career programs is one of the most roburt i’ve ever heard of: the school is very eager to place students in good positions. The alumni metwork is particularly strong.
Cons
We are a target school for finance and accounting not so much advisory. The marketing program is not as big as the finance: but it is being developed.
