In determining the order of this ranking, we awarded points in six categories. A well-rounded marketing curriculum that is competitive in a growing industry is graded on a 1-5 point range. The desirability of graduates in the job market can earn up to four points. Awards, accolades, and similar recognition in trusted publications can garner up to five points. An accessibility of learning materials and other resources for online master’s in marketing students earn anywhere from 1 to 3 points while tuition return-on-investment will add another 1 to 4 points. Military-friendly practices add another 1 to 3 points. An additional point was awarded for features of particular distinction. In the event of a tie in points, the school with the lower tuition will rank higher.
