The University of Wisconsin at Stout is a primarily four-year college located in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Home to 10,000 students, the University is part of the University of Wisconsin System and was named as Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University within the last decade. Accordingly, the university focuses on study related to professional careers and applied sciences. In 2013, MIT helped to open a Fab Lab on campus or a laboratory in which flexible computing applications can assist in constructing a broad range of products.
