In developing this ranking, our editors began with an initial pool of 73 colleges and universities offering online master’s degrees in information technology. To narrow this pool and to select the top 30 programs, they applied the rating and ranking methodology above, using data from both College Navigator and US News and World Report. Program-specific information was taken from each school’s website. In cases of a tie, the more affordable school received the higher ranking.
